We have an archive of pictures of UK 20th century social and political history from the 1940s through the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s showing the resistance and struggles against inequality and injustice, the major and the lesser known events and individuals concerned e.g. The 1972, 1974 and 1984-85 Miner's Strikes. We also photographs of the cultural developments of the period in particular the contribution of minorities. These are mostly black and white photographs from the Report/IFL Archive, The News Line Archive and many notable individual photographers working in the period.

Subjects available include: current affairs, work and economy, health, education, politics, social issues, trade unions, protest, migrants, IDPs and refugees, environmental issues, culture.
