Everything you need to know to keep your company profile updated (Full and Associate members)

How to select categories for the online Image supplier listings

1. Log on to the website
2. Once you've logged in, you'll be taken back to the homepage. Type your company name in the A-Z SUPPLIER SEARCH on the left-side of the page
3. Click on your company name in the displayed search results
4. This will take you to your profile page. Click on the green EDIT PROFILE button and then on CATEGORIES -> SELECT and follow the online instructions to choose your categories.
5. Click SUBMIT

How to update your company contact details and description

1. Login and select you company profile as above then click on the green EDIT PROFILE button.
2. Company description and contact details are a series of free text fields for you to describe your company, services and list your contact details.
3. Update your details (The maximum description length is 100 words)
4. Click SUBMIT
   

How to update your gallery

1. Login and select you company profile as above then click on the green EDIT GALLERY button.
2. You can display 5 images. The main images must be cropped to 380 X 350px and the thumbnails must be cropped to 95 X 70px
3. Click the browse button and select your images
4. You can also enter:
   Titles (Maximum character count: 60)
   Credit lines (Maximum character count: 75)
   ALT tags (Maximum character count: 60)
5. Click SUBMIT

Please note: If you do not have a gallery online as yet, you’ll have to contact susanne@bapla.org.uk to get this set up for you. She will then upload your initial selection of images which you will then be able to edit.


How the IMAGE CATEGORY SEARCH and IMAGE SUPPLIER A-Z work

• The metadata keywords are used by the IMAGE SUPPLIER A-Z site search to identify your profile.

• The web categories you select are used to define which category your library will be listed under on the IMAGE CATEGORY SEARCH. When you select your category you allocate a number of points to it. The more points you allocate the higher up your details will appear in the list for that category.
  
  
• The IMAGE SUPPLIER A-Z lists are automatically displayed in alphabetical order.
