APL is a general stock agency, selling both Royalty Free and Rights Managed images. The agency aims to represent photography that is not staged or clichéd. Instead APL's ‘real life images' provide a unique insight into real lives, places and situations. The diverse collection (spanning over 40 years!) encompasses images of wildlife, landscapes, travel, people, food and much more. Plus a specialist collection of vintage fashion photography. Over 14,000 images are available to search and buy on-line. And a free search service is offered of the in-house collection of over 500,000 transparencies. Selected APL photographers are available for commissioned work.
The BAPLA Directory is a database which is a protected both as a literary work by copyright and by database regulations. Any extraction or re-utilisation of this database must be limited to insubstantial parts. Repeated extraction or re-utilisation of insubstantial parts will be deemed to be substantial.
